chendaxian888 01-14-2021 12:59 AM

you guys just like to do tracks. How about mountain curving? I know it is much more dangerous and risky, don but don't you fell so high when you above to lose control and crash your car? Higher risky just make me feel so tension and excited. I did crash my car before some times but I just dont like a autox or something like this. atleast I cant wake up in 8 in weekend to race

chendaxian888 01-14-2021 01:07 AM

I dont like the show cars in a facebook car meet, add stupid light under car or engine cover, useing lower spring to lower the car. rolling race is also stupid, what that for? low the speed first and hit the gas then left it? make nosence.

You never drive above 70% of your skill on the road. You always leave something in reserve for the unexpected. Especially when you are young and dumb. I told this to one guy yesterday. I'm telling you now. You start out in life with 2 buckets. The first one is full of luck. The other bucket is empty of experience. You HOPE that when the bucket of luck is empty. The bucket of experience is full. If not. Someone will be going to your funeral.

Get your kicks on the track. Sign up for trackdays. Think your fast on the street? You will be surprised on how slow you are on the track. Nothing like being passed going into a corner by a Miata with a 150hp. Once you do a trackday. You will get hooked on doing them. :driving:

chendaxian888 01-14-2021 01:38 AM

maybe I should not go the supercharger for now, I am still a Immature driver now. When I get that more HP, I know I will go test my max speed someday, maybe I will just die. maybe I should go get a pair of gias III( import in march or aprl), steering wheels, 6pt setbelt, a new set of body kit and try find good set for my aero dynamic. what do you guys think?

Try using Google or one of the other web search engines and add "site:the370z.com" to your search string. Eg, "spring setup site:the370z.com"

Did you survive an abortion attempt? Is it the piece of coat hanger lodged in your brain that makes you drive (and type) like that?

On behalf of this forum, we would all like to help you out. Which way did you come in?

Chendaxian, my guess is you are from either China, Hong Kong, or Taiwan? Maybe Singapore?

Just a guess, based on your posts and user name, plus the “888”.

If so, I understand why you posted what you posted.

Nvm...his very first introductory post here stated he’s an international student from China, bingo.

Chen, the car culture in here is slightly different in US, at least in public forums, and especially here. This forum has been around since 2008-9. 370z is an aging platform. The active users here that are talking to you are mostly more mature, and don’t condone (or publicly brag) about driving dangerously on the streets.

For the US based users: race tracks aren’t widely available in Asian countries. Car culture In mainland China in specific is relatively new. Looking at his previous posts in collective, his mindset is just a product of car culture of his home country. He has long ways to go in terms of learning proper techniques and acceptable behavior. Don’t be too offended by it. He’ll need to learn, however.

I never defend the young and dumb. But in this case, it’s fair to provide some context.

Being a student from China. I'm surprised that he is still here. Most have packed up and went back home.

I am old and slow, so I get a fast looking car like the 370Z to feel more alive. I also have to admit that this thread and the last one were very entertaining. Accordingly, I thank the OP and the rest of you for your participation so far.
Enjoy life until you die!

Truck drivers call it dropping a load.

Bakers call it pinching a loaf.

How rude would it be if he guessed that I am from South Arkansas? And (used to) drive a 370Z? Or use "y'all" and other Southern expressions?

My point was that being able to figure out a few things about someone from their username, grammar, spelling, etc doesn't mean that they are a nationalist.

As far as I can tell, he hates everybody equally - he doesn't discriminate. :)

A contraction of "you" and "all." If you hear/see somebody use either, they are probably from The South.

I want to ask of our fellow members here to refrain from anymore negative comments towards the OP.

I'm pretty sure he gets it and moving forward will give careful thought of what he shares to discuss.

Would appreciate everyone's cooperation.

Thanks Trips.

First off street racing is extremely frowned upon around here. There are race tracks everywhere you can go get your speed fix without endangering the general public. The roll racing you've seen on facebook is just idiots in slow cars doing dumb crap for likes. Find a half mile event to check out if you want to raev real racing. Look for some HPDE classes in your area and keep it under control on the public roads

Uh....I think you’ve interpreted what I said entirely the wrong way there. I was entirely trying to help you out there man.

I myself was born and raised in Hong Kong, moved to US when I was 16. I had my share of adapting to new life here.

Plenty of people gave u shiet in other replies, way meaner than anything I said, and mine is that one you got so mad about?

Edit: some were thinking I was looking down on Asians.....I guess it’s very possible my message could be perceived that way....I should’ve added my cultural and ethnic background to avoid confusion....

Fun fact: my name is Wai Wong. The little red avatar says “wrong way”, a play on my own name.

cv129 01-15-2021 09:19 AM

Might as well further clarify....my own engine is completely stock, dyno’d at 281whp. Your car has more power than mine, in case you thought my first reply here meant as a slight to your car’s power....Sigh.
