It is Friday Yawl....Yahoo! Only working a half day to day and off to the Chuckwalla Valley Raceway for a weekend of fun in the sun! It is going to be a great Valentine's weekend. I will take the wife to Las Vegas and do something special with her on Monday :p. You know I bought a snow shovel several year ago. It worked great for picking leaves LMAO :stirthepot:. I did use it once for its intended purpose. Well the Z is about buttoned up and ready to head to Seb on Saturday. Pictures are Instagram on my page and @perseciongarageracing. I will post the pictures on here some place today. Probably in the track section. You guys and girls be well and stay safe and sanitary, no sliding off the road or falling on your *** due to polar vortex Al Gore frozen jizz.

Leingod 02-12-2021 08:36 AM

Morning guys. 6 year anniversary was yesterday. Made a few ribeye steaks with carmelized onions, roasted brussel sprouts, and sous vide honey carrots.

The weekend is when the real fun cooking will begin. had to alter half the damn menu because Amazon sent me co2 instead of n20 for my siphon.

Have my liver ultrasound today to get the ball rolling on whatever a high enzyme count could be. Crossing my fingers it'll be nothing.

And it's a holiday weekend for the bank. So get to sleep in a little.

Gonna be 84 degrees here in south florida, I'll do my best to push some of this warm air up north.. be safe, and keep all 4 tires on the ground.

The Fit is a beast in the snow and ice. I drove 70 all the way home and didnt realise I wasnt gonna stop until I hit the hill up to the rockford exit. Thought **** me, I dont wanna go all the way to Cedar Springs if I miss my off ramp. :icon17:

Couple of miles? That was on 45 like less than a mile from us.

Pretty typical.... stupid Texans driving unsafe in hazardous conditions. Was funny to hear the news reporters comment yesterday on how ridiculously fast people were driving on I-35. Almost like they were surprised.

JARblue 02-12-2021 09:12 AM

Grabbed another set of those Ridgid packout tool boxes for my buddy who helped me with the water heater removal and platform rebuild. He was admiring them the other week, so he'll be surprised

Drizzling outside. Glad I got a drive in yesterday. Not much longer and spring will be here for us southerners. Then it will be time to mount the new rear tires and light the fires.

Hotrodz, Just FYI, if you are going to take the Mrs. out to eat in Vegas don't forget you have to make a reservation at any restaurant per state guidelines. Hope you guys have fun and be safe!!

Everyone always drives that elevated ramp thinking there won't be ice for some reason. :icon14:

Hello from the arctic tundra of Austin.

Ordered 2 neck bushings for one of my reloading die sets from Brownell just before Christmas. They was on backorder. No big deal. Well.......they shipped them out on 2/1, in 2 different packages. I was tracking the packages. On 2/5 the tracking just stopped. So I called Brownell on 2/10. She told me that I have to wait until the 11th to file a claim with them. WELL...........today I get up-dated tracking on both packages. The fvckers are in GUAM!!!!! :wtf: How did it go from Iowa to Guam? :wtf:

If it did, you wouldn't know because it would be under the snow.

I had the cd. Brings back some great memories. I used to see so many concerts (and a lot of colors) back then, I can't remember if I saw them in concert :icon14:

When that album came out. I had a black '78 TransAm with T-tops, :driving: and dating a girl that looked like a Greek goddess. :yum: Glad that relationship never worked out. Nothing like dating crazy. :icon14: She went through my bank account like Sherman went through the south. :shakes head: Learn my lesson with her. Lots of great memories tho.

When the album came out I had a Datsun 2000 Roadster and the most beautiful tomboy girlfriend. She loved doing all the same things I loved to do. I should have married that girl. Being young though you think the grass is always greener blah, blah, blah. Never found another girl like her.

I made the mistake of putting her up on a pedestal and worshipping her. She was in her 4yr at college majoring in psychology. Boy, did she do a number on my head. :shakes head: I had just been released by the DoD for being injured over seas. Long story on that. :shakes head: Found out from her friend that I was in her term paper. :icon14:

I wish it would warm up so I can throw the intakes back in and mount the diff brace. Picked up some different dremel bits to round out the toe bolts as well eventually. Think I'll add the z1 rear arms and sell the fucas. Pick up some voodoo or spl fucas eventually.
