Still spun all the way through fourth. Never got to fifth. That thing is insane. I'm glad he's a pro racer or I would have been crapping my depends. Now I've got a good idea how Spoolers car must feel :driving:

That perty much sums it up. I will get 3rd traction when my boost by gear is done. I am limiting it to 17psi. 4th was iffy, 50-50 shot for traction. Working on taking some of the TQ out down at 4500-5000 rpm. It just shocks the tires blows them off. You're not going slow when it does it either. Have to be on your toes or it can get away from you. I have to be in the mood for it. It's no joke.

I live in Redondo Beach. A block from the beach. The Porsche Experience track is off the 405. Too bad they won't allow other cars on their track.

Great idea! I'll have to remember that when I get my car back

Public service announcement! The teeth on the OEM flywheel are really sharp. I was installing an old flywheel on my spare motor today. I need to bolt up my trans and starter to turn it over and see if I can get #3 exhaust valves to seat. The flywheel was a really tight fit on the crankshaft. It slipped and cut the crap out of my finger. I just ordered a set of gloves off Amazon :rofl2:

Did you wrap a paper towel around the wound, then wrap that with electrical tape?

Paper towel yes, didn't have any electrical tape. The motor is over where I store my car. No supplies there. I just wrapped up the finger and said screw it. I'll go back with some 320 wet and dry and clean up the mating surface of the flywheel and grease both parts up when I get my gloves

Well.... Mia is a big time hunter now. She killed 2 rabbits, and shook the chit out of another one today. :icon14: So much for the bunny nest in the raised bed garden. There is still 3 bunnies running around someplace.

Ted got two mice and now he thinks he needs to protect the yard from vermin. He searches everywhere smelling for them. Lifted the seed bin for bird feeders and one took off from under, he was off like a shot and spent an hour going back and forth sniffing under everything and pawing at the bins.

Mia been chasing the bigger rabbits and birds ever since she was a baby. Well, she finally caught something. If one of the bigger rabbits ever stood it's ground. I think Mia would get her azz whooped. :rofl2: The rabbit would be bigger then her.

Shed probably look at the rabbit like it was stupid while it tries to box her with front paws and she'd just go in for the kill.

redondoaveb 05-05-2021 09:53 PM

I had my supercharger kit removed today. While it was on the lift and the undershroud removed we did a once over of the motor and found one small hole in the block on cylinder #5. CJM oil pan is still intact. Hopefully the baffles are fine. We'll see Seb finds in the pan when he removes it.
