Good morning gentlemen!:tiphat:

1/4atatime 04-13-2021 07:16 AM

Morning today is going to be a good day today I think. Sun is coming out, the weather is looking good in VA today and the new detailing job is looking fresh. Saw a Z on my way home the other day I had to look twice to make sure I wasn't seeing things. I literally never see 370z's where I'm at in the entire time I've had the car I've seen 3 total. 1 black one that I saw yesterday, a charcoal one, and another silver one.

:gtfo2: with that ON TOPIC post... don't you realize this is the OFF TOPIC thread? :rofl2:

Good morning everyone :hello: Enjoy your day :tiphat:

Why can we not get a real cup of coffee anymore? Why are we so lazy everything is dehydrated, reconstituted sh1t instead of just letting hot water run through some ground up beans? All that extra work to end up with a horrible cup of grime.

Ohh it still has caffeine? Two please

When I actually do work on one of the cars, I just plan for it to be down for months (or years) at a time depending on the job

Just the rear bumper, and the lower part of the tail gate. The rear bumper is because of chitty paint job and scrapping it on rocks. The tail gate is from hauling rocks and stones.

Rusty 04-13-2021 09:43 AM

I don't want to go to work today. The one truck canceled yesterday, and is coming today. So now I will have 2 trucks of the some today. :shakes head: And I'm limited on room. :shakes head:

Can't believe the prices for plywood. And it's going to go up even more. :shakes head:

I'm guessing will will see a lot more homes built with foam sheeting where it is not code now. Not really a bad thing as it boosts the R value just make sure the first floor is brick. If it's vinyl you can break in with a razor knife

Towards the end of my stint in construction, we saw a lot of this kind of thing in PA. My dad commented to me "any thief wanting to break in here should avoid the door. It's the only rigid part of the house. Pick a wall, run through that!"

Hope all of you are doing well today. The weather has cleared here and it's gorgeous out.

I thought the economy was "battered!" Isn't that why Congress spent as much on coronanal stimulus (oh hi Zoren!) as it cost to fight World War Two, adjusted for inflation?

lmao The country is already covered in them. I built countless houses sheeted in nothing but foam. It's code in a lot of places.

3 little pigs:gtfo2:

You wouldn't know the difference between a house sheeted in plywood, board on board, foamboard, lap siding or any kind other kind of sheet nor would anyone else.

lmao, In my defense I said get a brick facade :rofl2:

Sorry for sounding snappy if it came off that way, my fuse is shorter than it should be.

And to add to my shortened fuse. Guess what two guys just found out our late sisters douchebag ex husband has put a restraining order on my parents :shakes head:

Ahh yes, the "fake a back injury in the air farce" cu nt has been denying visitation for the last year and no one told us. :ohsnap1:

And now, with a still active restraining order he just agreed to bring her up here :ugh2: like nothing was going on.

On the up side(**** that Dbag I'm going to break his jaw and more the first time i see this m*th***ck** pile of worthless government cheese sucking fake injury azzhole sperm doner m*th*r*f***ker) Dad is doing a bit better after the nerve block today. He is out of it due to the drugs but in way less pain. We have not given him any of the IR morphine today and he hasn't asked for it so hopefully he is more lucid tomorrow.

The only way I can explain the last couple days with my dad is like running into someone drunk off their ***. They babble and can't hold a sentence. You have to tell them to call a cab 8 times and then tell them they need to call a cab before they babble about needing a cab?

:eek:waxed BB plywood was that much a few years ago. We had 5 bunks in the shop yesterday, that might be worth a turbo kit at this point

Those pain meds are strong. Had morphine and Demerol before when I had knee surgery. It will take a bit of time to wear off. Hang in there. The dirt bag is not worth going to jail over. He will pay his dues later, I can guarantee that.

You should read the first 20 chapters on this waste of resource. His dues are about up and time for collection is near

I've had morphine for my broken ribs and demerol for my colonoscopy. I have to go in for oral surgery on Monday, they're giving me propofol and fentanyl :icon14:

Glad your dad is out of pain. I used to have to give the first wifey morphine by mouth when she went on hospice.
