He is good with poly or OEM. I had mine installed by my local shop. I got scolded because I didn't let him know for tuning purposes. The more rigid the motor sits in place the more efficiently power is transferred throughout the power train.

Don't do solid trans mount it will cause brain damage. Solid motor mounts are not to bad.

Some companies offer a plan where you pay $10/month and they consistently shop you the best rate. That works great except when 4MM people lost power and the going rate went from 10-15 cents to $150 a MW. That couple days got real expensive.

Nothing much. Just glad to have some normal weather for a change.

It is not bad. You only feel it or know about them at startup or at idle. Going down the road you will never know it.

The CJM solid mounts are excellent. Also I like their minimalist design which allows a lot more room when working around them. The added vibration is noticeable but I also did a solid trans mount. Very happy with the results; I really like how responsive the car is to road surface variations now.

Should note that my suspension is still stock except for SPL FUCAs. So again, the solid mounts are quite noticeable but not excessive by any means. Even on poor roads. Spooler is right about the startup. Once I put in solid bushings everywhere on the suspension, that'll stiffen it up where it starts to feel like Rusty's car. Mmmm... I like how stiff Rusty's car is :yum:

Now it makes sense. They took a gamble and lost. Oh well. Hard lesson to learn.

Got down to 2F last night. Up to a balmy 39F now. I got some long icicles forming. :icon14: The one was about 5ft long. :eek: Had to break that one off.

I had a pretty good sized one over the front flower garden. By the end of the freeze, it had 3 prongs like a trident and was nearly halfway to the ground (4+ ft). I had to take out the one on the 2nd story above the Z twice because it was getting too big for comfort. Luckily I had plenty of snowballs at my disposal :)
