If he’s getting that bank 1 lean code then it’s the fuel trim sensor in the manifold collector. Only two of those four you pulled out would work. Thankfully you can get to that bank 1 from the top with the appropriate number of extensions on your ratchet.

The code is P2098, post-catalyst fuel trim system too lean bank 2.
