I can attest to that. I drove through DFW on my way to San Antonio after that area had gotten 1" of snow. The number of cars I saw off the road was amazing... :icon14:

I rolled through there in a minivan without a problem, though I did have to dodge a few idiots... :driving::driving:

An inch of snow can actually be a serious problem. Because Texas rarely gets any serious snow, the fleet of city maintenance vehicles for addressing the snow on the roads is minimal. And when the fleet does deploy it focuses on heavily-trafficked roads only, meaning the less traveled roads with more dangerous conditions get ignored.

IIRC, I was on I-35W throught DFW... (ya'll's designators for I-35 are weird) and most of the slide-offs I saw were people that had come down the overpasses. It was almost like they were sliding when they hit the downward path....

Finished 22PLE HPC ceramic coating the 14' nismo. Took me a couple of weekends to go through the paint correction. Thing was marred/swirled to death. I got it sparkling for sure.

Going to try to vinyl wrap the roof in gloss black later today.

I was maybe 7 Or 8 when my cousin got one. It was a powerful thing, maybe boasting 10 horses or so...

Sears sold a bunch of stuff back in the day. Mini bikes, boats, motorcycles, bullet bras, and kit houses. My first house was a Sears 4 square built back in the 1920's. There is a lot of the Sears 4 squares in my area.

That was back in the day when each morning we all stood and recited the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag that was hanging in our classroom.

All I really remember about the 3rd grade is that this fat girl named Lisa Larson would lift her shirt up on the playground and let all of us pint sized playboys cop a quick feel when the playground lady was a looking the other way... ...In retrospect, I dont even think it was a boob, just fat...

...I kinda wonder how ‘ole Lisa is doing these days, I would just about guess that she grew up to be a biggun...

Bet she slimmed down and turned out to be a super model, and lives in Malibu.

Either that, or she pumped out a dozen kids. and lives in a trailer park not far from JC.

Ok so we got 3-4” of snow yesterday and it was windy 25mph. gusting occasionally to 40mph. and 2 local school districts shut down :gtfo2:

When I was in school. There had to be at least 10" of snow on the ground for them to think of shutting down. Now if there is a few snowflakes, they have a 2 hour delay. One inch of snow and they cancel. :shakes head: I remember helping the bus driver put snow chains on the school bus a couple of times.
