Fired up 2-yotas this morning; as I don’t recall putting the winter air in the Camry tires & tpms light is on :shakes head:
Gonna let them both warm up while I’m :yum: on my oatmeal...then I’ll gauge them quickly....as I have new threads going on this weekend :ugh2:

Re: kids today, yeah it'd probably start off that way. You'd have a huge number of people wailing and whining, but after a little while, you might start to see a spine emerge in some of them. My Polish ex used to talk about that a lot. Since she was in Poland while it was still a communist country, she remembered standing in lines for things like rationed shoes, tp, other essentials. Said that many of the people there were unbelievably strong, solid, resourceful - you had to be to survive. Fast forward 30 years, and the next generation was comparatively weak and coddled.

Environment plays a huge part in our development. One of the greatest gifts my parents gave me was in allowing me to fail. They'd give me advice, but let me **** up.

We still do the "hallway huddle" out here in the Chi, for tornadoes.

Ok so we got 3-4” of snow yesterday and it was windy 25mph. gusting occasionally to 40mph. and 2 local school districts shut down :gtfo2:
