Belt slip is an easy fix, never had problems with belt shredding (except when I tried a 928 sure grip pulley) and the only time mine didn't work right is because I'm doing things that haven't been done and it's a learning process. Even Seb said he's far from a supercharger expert and has learned a lot from my builds. And my supercharger hasn't blown any motors (yet) LMAO.

Not true. My car was making 17 psi with no belt slip. The only time my blower shredded a belt was when I tried 928's sure grip pulley and that thing was so rough, it destroyed a belt in less than a week. Never had belt issues since going back to the vortech pulleys. Also, never had to do follow up belt adjustments.

Oh nice, then maybe I didn't tighten it up enough the first few times... or just normal stretching? I have not put many miles on the original high speed belt... maybe at most 6K miles in 3 years.

Are you using the rpm belt?

Maybe soon I can start on my 1975 280zt build. This is the only body kit I like. I am not sure if I will stick with the L28, go RB26, or do an LSX.

Yeap, and would make an easy 650hp. I am torn between an L28 Turbo or an RB26. The RB26 screaming at 10k would be glorious. It will be a turbo build for sure.

I'm in Portland, trying to get over the time on an airplane. Nothing close is open for dining in, its carry-out or delivery. :icon14:

I hit the drive through at Wendy's... that turned out to be a mistake. I ate about 2 pm local time, it's 7:30 pm and my stomach has just settled down. :ugh2:

I always wanted to do an RB turbo build on my 240Z. I sold mine years ago when you could get them for a song thinking I could always pick one up later for a decent price. Boy was I wrong

Had a guy call last week about renting it the 24th, 25th, and 26th of this month. What he said is that he wants to park it at his parent's house for those days and use it like an extra bedroom. I told him that he can't park it in the grass because of how much it weights, and it would sink in the ground. He then said that he has to talk to his parents about it, and he would get back to me. Haven't heard a word from him since.

They sell these plastic Lego-like blocks at walmart and online, you drive the motorhome on them and they distribute the weight

Seb knows turbo's, he doesn't know enough about super-duperchargers and it frustrates him. :icon23::icon17:
