Went to the grocery store this afternoon. Huge line of people. Seems with the election next week, people are starting to panic thinking that there's going to be an uprising. :ugh2:

You might not get a quick answer as the last post of his giving that update was the last time he was on which was 3/1/20 :ugh2:

The colleges around DC are telling their students to stock pile food for at least a week. Read this a couple days ago.

Sweet ride! My first car was a Charger too... the Shelby 2.2 turbo version... not my all time favorite. I swore off front wheel drive anything after that. Still have yet to own another fwd since. :icon17:

2nd car was a 1969 Dodge Dart 340 6 pack w/ 4 on the floor Hurst shifter... letting off the clutch on that bad boy with some thick azz tires in the rear felt like the front was going to lift off the ground. The throw from first to second was so ridiculously far apart lol

Had both cars at the same time and often change the 6 pack Holley Carb to the Charger... just a manifold change, fuel hook up, and linkage ... took less than an hour. Fun times.

First wifey had a '88 Olds Delta 88, 2 door with the 455, TH400. That was a BIG car. The only car I drove that I had to pull off to the side of the road to wind up or down the pass side window. :icon14: The trunk was HUGE. I could see why drug smugglers liked that car. :icon14:

Had a '73 Dart Sport 340 4speed. Dropped a valve in it. Replaced the 340 with a 440. Grenaded that motor. Rebuilt it to a 572 ci monster. :driving: It was ridiculous. :rofl2:

I went from having those 2 muscle cars to a 1980 Datsun B210 hatchback... talk about night and day  That's when I started my first real job and I needed something practical to get me to work which was 50 miles up the nj turnpike. I swore the gas gauge was broke on it as it never moved like my Dodges lmao

My dad had a '64 Plymouth Belvedere with a 413, dual 4 bbl cross ram intake. He just about died in that car. Some guy crossed the double yellow line and hit my dad head on. The guy died on the sot. My dad spent 3 weeks in ICU. when the insurance company settled up. They got him another '64 Belvedere with a 318. Boy, was my dad pissed.

Mom had a Plymouth Sport Fury III with a 440. Loved that car when I was a kid.

SouthArk370Z 10-31-2020 10:42 PM

Back in the late 70s I had a late-60s Dodge Dart GTS (gold with black bumblebee stripe). It was some kind of 340 - huge 4-bbl carb, cast iron headers, dual-point distributor, etc. Great suspension for back then. And a decent sized back seat. ;)

Zingston 10-31-2020 10:52 PM

Anyone ever have a Javelin back in the day? I always thought they were cool.

jchammond 10-31-2020 11:00 PM

:hello: Night Folks,
Gonna stretch out again; Latino neighbor’s have music blasting still :shakes head:

Also, happy November
