Same but I believe they're California only? I'll look into it but I think I have a buddy who has a lawyer he used when he got a hefty ticket

He asked me "how many drinks have you had tonight" and I told him "none" which was the truth, I haven't even drank since last weekend. He then said "maybe it's the cologne I'm smelling then" LOL, whatever. He takes my info and I chat with the other two officers (2 squad cars pulled me over). They were pretty cool and relaxed guys, they just seemed bored.

Officer comes back and says he's giving me a ticket for speed racing because he didn't see me actually speeding. Says for it to be speed racing, that doesn't mean there even has to be another car. He said "testing the endurance of a vehicle" which he said he suspected me doing since he "heard" me downshift a couple turns past his stop, and also how long it took him to catch up to me.

This is the funny part, HE PUT THE WRONG NAME ON THE TICKET. He must've gotten info mixed up and entered the policy owner's info for the defendant (I'm not the policy holder, but on the insurance). So as it is the ticket isn't even for me. My court date is late next month.

Your name is not on the ticket. You can get it dismissed for being defective on its face.

Go to court. Texas Transportation Code § 545.420(a)(4), which I am assuming from your statement that they charged you under, states that: "A person may not participate in any manner in[...]a test of physical endurance of the operator of a vehicle[.]"

Aka Cannonball Run style. Which you were not.

Also, if your name is not on the ticket, you can get it dismissed for being defective on its face.

Yep exactly, I'm very confident it'll get dismissed anyways. Going to get in contact with a lawyer just to make sure I do it correctly. Even if it were written to me I'm confident I could beat it. Just inconvenienced me now because he had very little proof besides "hearing me". Aftermarket exhaust (Ark GRiP) but still stock cats and headers so not obnoxious.

I need a clip or something that will prevent USB male end from coming unplugged on extension cable. I dont want to use a square knot or something like electrical extension cords.

I have 38 rooms to do so its gotta be kinda fast to install. I could use 3 zipties to hold them together but that takes forever and looks like crap.

A few wraps of electrical should do the trick. Get high-quality tape (eg, 3M 33+) and adhesive residue will be minimal if you need to disassemble some time down the line.

Our electrician said the same thing but the residue was a big concern because peripherals die often and a sticky mess in a patient room is not going to fly either. I'll pickup a roll and test it out, thank you for the suggestion.

The first Tuesday since the first week in March I've woke up in my own bed

It's cold

Well cold for the first week of August. 56° with a high of 72°

Much better than the mid to upper 90s we normally have this time of year.

Started some bin repair yesterday. There where 6 new bins that were blown over or critically damaged a few weeks ago with some wicked straight line winds. The demo guys made a mess of everything. They didn't even take the nuts off the anchor blots

just ripped the old tank down and drug it off the side of the foundation.
