Their location is Delaware, so I made the mistake of thinking my product was shipping from there. I wasn't in a hurry and figured if the mail is a little late it would be ok. I was not aware they ship their goods from POLAND. I was told it clearly states this in their "frequently asked questions" section (which by the way is a small link on the bottom of their page). Unless you have a specific reason to be looking at the faq's, you aren't going to read that. In addition, the email I received had tasty tidbits like...
Since the passenger traffic between US and Europe is suspended, and mail system uses cargo storage in passenger planes for international transport of priority mail items, mail services are currently using alternative shipping means (ships, mainly) which allow mail to arrive, but significantly extend the transit times. USPS is sending mail to Europe by ship once a month, for example.
We do indicate this information on our order form (cough, cough, bullsh!t), in fact we even subsidize part of the cost of expedited shipping (which is done via FedEx and is not subject to delays the way international mail is), however you chose regular mail despite our suggestions to the contrary, expressed on the order form, so there is no other way but to wait several weeks for it to arrive.
We are sorry to have to inform you of such dire circumstances, alas, force majeure is not something we can control.
Please be patient.
No... it doesn't say this. All it says is, "Currently mail services are unreliable. FedEx is operating normally." ...just a bit different than what they claimed in the email.
