Now, you could get some chump off the street but they are no where near my league. A real bargain for your company and a solid move that will make the uppers eyebrows raise, which I am guessing is admiration of your wily, cunning hiring skills that could land a candidate like me for such a low, low price.

Or you could just hire me. You get all the work for half the price and a burnt out colleague after only 2 years. Oh, and I will swear profusely at every little thing.

Swearing is 90% of how I keep my frustration in check, say for example when I start my day being told I need to submit vast amounts of paperwork to a customer to get them to fix a problem they caused... and which is currently preventing us from shipping a part which they need.

I'm half tempted to ignore the request and let them sort it out when they get desperate.
