Yeap, that is why I don't have solid diff or tranny mount bushings. I can't stand that whinning noise. The solid motor mounts and diff cooler never bother me driving the car.
If i ever put in a sequential, it won't have straight cut gears. Gear whine is annoying as hell.

I could listen to straight cut gears all day.

*If the switch is sealed up well, you can spray where the actuator enters the body while moving the actuator.

That was my initial thought. I have some at work... give it a try tomorrow. Thank ya.

Honestly, I got to a point where if I could have torn it out of the car and beat it with itself, I would have.

Maybe I'll sell this piece of Lithuanian azz-pizz fine, fine product to JAR and pick up another short shifter.

I'll grab a good one tomorrow. Had the same setup for over a year and no issues like that. All the right hoses go to all the right holes. EW should take notes..

If you have breathers on your catch cans. That defeats the system. The filters short circuits the flow route.

IF you have filters, that just means that they vent to atmosphere. Hence that is why they stink. No filters and it goes back into the intake to be burned without oil and crap.

The filters eliminate the vacuum for the valve covers. The manifold will pull more air from the filters then the valve covers.

Also need to put the pcv valves back in the holes
I’m pretty sure the cans will work better that way & as Rusty says, sealed cans :iagree:

Morning all! Hope you had a great weekend, regardless of whether or not you made it to the great Western PA Orgy (I definitely missed being there).

On a more somber note, RIP my dad's Porsche. As I'd mentioned to you guys in passing, he'd been restoring a 996 series 911 after years without anything more mobile than a minivan. He'd just finished replacing the seats and top, was on his way home, and smoke started filling the cabin. He pulled into a parking lot, popped the front, and saw flames. Not much in the front except wiring and the battery, so most likely a wiring issue. He couldn't get at it with his floormats, quickly called 911 (2 blocks from a fire house) but it took them more than 10 minutes to roll out by which time the whole car was just a column of flames. Heartbreaking :-/ He took it pretty well, all things considered.

Good morning all! Glad those attending the Z Summit at Rusty's had a great time and got home safely.

I am sorry to hear about your dad's Porsche Mr. Larson. Never easy to lose something you put blood, sweat and tears into.

Well it will be under 100 today and the air is full of smoke from the fires in California. It is crazy because those fires are better than 400 miles away and you can smell it like it is within 20.

Due to the value of that car going way up he may make out just fine if he had full coverage insurance. I hope he did.
