Push together fittings make airlines really easy, I think even EW could handle the job.

Took the drywall lifter back. Putty up the screw holes and seams in the ceiling. Sealed the seams in the shower backer board.

Now to start cleaning up the garage some. :icon14:

Pierogi's stuff with potato, fried with onions. :yum:

I could go for some fried cabbage and noddles, with either ham chunks or kielbasa. :yum:

Seb sent me a map to pass the emissions testing. Was about to interface and upload the map and my laptop crashed. Almost shat myself.

The garage is cleaner. :icon14: Used the shop vac to get most of the dust. Then used my leaf blower to push the rest of the dust outside. The floor needs pressures washed. I was using the vac under some shelving. The vac went thud, and I felt it pick up large. Pulled back on the nozzle. And there was a dead rabbit on the end of it. :icon14: He's been dead for a while. As he was nothing but bones wrapped in fur. :icon14: Never smelled him either. :icon14:

I have a 15" surface cleaner attachment for pressure washer I can bring with me. Takes all of 10 minutes to do the whole garage.

Only complaint is the control screen is hard to see... you have to squat and look at it head on in order to read it. Good luck

We got the Samsung. Apparently the washing machine analyzes the load while it's washing it and then communicates with the dryer to set up the most effective drying pattern for that particular load. Smart or marketing bs? Who knows.

Sounds like marketing BS. Analyze this load.

Next we’ll be seeing sings of “ For the safety of our employees we carry no cash “
I personally use cash as much as possible, don’t want my cc in every store I purchase something from. Now I know all of you young guns think I’m crazy but have any of you been involved with a data breach or had your ID stolen ? Not fun.
IMHO for what it’s worth ( not much ) it’s just another way of tracking / monitoring, and in a free society ....... well you get it :rofl2:
I hope Americans never get the call to turn in our cash and now all transactions are to be done electronically.
Remember the fewer choices = fewer freedoms

Cash is important, and I hate the idea of being monitored by either corps or govt but using a cc makes sense most of the time to help limit Id theft liability online as well as in store purchases. We do try to use cash to pay in person as much as possible whenever it’s a sketchy place or not too sure @bout someplace.

As someone with strong libertarian leanings, I get what you’re saying but passing laws to prevent data mining and profiting off our info, esp with no reimbursement or realistic ability to opt out is probably the best solution.

Too much “security” (govt take) and money (Corp take) at stake so our citizens right to relative anonymity and privacy take a back seat as usual. :owned:

Everyone always talks about this but for all our problems at least we still have a written down govt/societal document/principles that put our individual liberties and rights first.

Most less governmentally and corporately “intrusive” countries also have FAR fewer protections and guaranteed rights for the individual. Make sure your bag of bribe money never runs low either.

THIS!

We are a few common sense privacy respecting laws/regulations away from making this far less of an issue. Problem is this directly pits profit against our individual freedoms, only the former pays lobbyists and politicians. The latter is the bs lip service those same folks spew while grabbing sacks of cash and selling us all out with a smile.

As far as nefarious plot or not, my take is it started out not at all in a nefarious way from the govt side but they quickly realized the potential benefits so there is now an active push, is this now nefarious?, to keep and expand the serveilance state.

It was always nefarious from the get go as far as corps wre concerned. We are the cash cow to be milked and slaughtered. Keep them docile and believing the apps and social media and modern conveniences are actually for them when in fact WE, our data are the commodity. Those cows in the field probably think the ranchers are the best thing ever right up until the point that they get slaughtered.

With The socialists tendencies of people in the country, It’s not too far off to say that, if they were in power and decided that, you had too much in your account &” for the social good and for people who don’t have as much “ or to satisfy the National debt we’re going to only let you keep x amount …just saying ;)
I know I’m half craZy but I’m having a good time :happydance:

Wouldn’t the fourth amendment prevent this? We have to put more faith in our abilities to maintain a free and fair society based on our constitution and bill of rights, and the court system that must follow them. Not perfect but better than anywhere else. Also our right to vote, this ensures our freedoms.

Oh, and coequal branches of govt and divided govt too.

A lot of people in my age range and in my area have a good bit of anger towards what they see as government overreach and poor use of funds - they're into things like paid education, but it's always AS OPPOSED TO things like spending on more military. If the parties in power were truly in favor of reducing government spending as opposed to increasing it (but increasing it for military on the Right and Programs on the Left) most of my contemporaries are in favor of that. Quite a few people are also sick of corporate welfare (again something that both left and right agree on).
