Not sure how it is in the far north but in IL UI filing takes maybe 15 min the first time you file. 5 min every time after unless you have address/ job/dependency changes to make. And bi-weekly filing is less than a min. All done online or over the phone via an automated system. A phone call to claim weeks is a little longer than online but it's no more than 5 min.

Michigan's UI systems are so backed up they had to pull phone bank staff off the phones to work the applications. Some initial payments take 5 weeks to process.

That is quite easy lol. Here the UI application doesn't address small business owners that have no employees. So you complete the application which is about 30 minutes. You get letters starting you don't qualify and forms to provide information that you have already provided. They tell you to complete the weekly claim anyway as they will fix things on the backside. It is just freaking circle jerk.

I'm not sure how overloaded it is here now but we go on UI for a week or 2 even on good years due to weather. I keep some coins stashed back and take the $450 a week UI when the temps drop to F you and the snow is blowing. It is a really simple system with quick turn around as long as your employer doesn't deny it.

It's one of the few things IL has done right

That didn't go according to plan. I kept telling them that I was a lesbian. But the Adam's apple and 5 o:clock shadow didn't help. :shakes head:

Time to insert a virus into the network at work. That only you know how to fix. I know guys that would/will do that to protect their jobs.

I really feel bad for Madwi. I know that feeling. Everytime I got laid off. Always wondered if I getting called back or not.

Pa. employment top rate is over $600 a week, and $60.00 for every dependent. It's based on how much you made in the last 18 months. You sign up by phone or internet.

That would be found in about 10 seconds. They'd know exactly where it came from and whose credentials launched it. time stamped the whole 9 yards.

Yup. Between carbon black, bit 9, ivsnti, and 4 other things, anyone would get caught asap. Heck, I'm the biggest risk in the bank due to being the exchange admin. I've got a few thousand flags under me already. Lol.
