Thinking on getting one of these.

Those are larger and heavier than the old M28 batteries:icon17: That line spoiled milwaukee cordless tools for me. It's probably great for larger tools like leaf blower and chainsaw but it's like a boat anchor on a drill:rofl2:

Any reputable answers will be appreciated, as I can completely tie in what I’ve done & tarp over or try & finish getting wood down

Just get the wood down, a little rain won't hurt it

So I guess I’ll install one more panel on each side & prepare to cover everything up :ugh2:

It's really not that big of a deal. If osb couldn't take a couple rains before getting dried in building anything would be a nightmare. It takes a lot of exposure to do any damage. Now if you went and bought CDx like a knucklehead get it covered. That stuff will delaminate if it gets coffee spilled on it.

do you get a discount... $220 is a lot just for one battery, but that fvcker will last 12 hours. thats a beast.

Woah!! $220 for a battery?!? What battery? :icon14:

Even the 9Ah battery is only $159 with a charger - I bought it with the cordless shopvac kit for $179.

The 3Ah batteries came in a kit of 2 batteries and a charger for $149 - I got the deal that included a free Octane bare tool.

Be sure you’re using impact sockets on that gun, as they’re designed for it...a chrome socket will dink it up :icon14:

That would fall under the category of user error. Lol give me a little more credit than that. I actually own pretty much only impact sockets now. Have a set of 12 pt deep 3/8 drive chrome sockets and several trashed HF chrome socket sets with random missing sockets that have broken over the years.
