This is probably a dumb question but if I only lower my car 3/4in or so would I need an alignment immediately. Obviously it's better to have an alignment but how bad would it be to go without one for a little while since I am not planning on dropping it that much?

The Golden Corral is going to open up today. Just saw this on the news....

I ate at a Golden Corral once.... and I'll never do it again. Good Lord, it looked like redneck heaven....:icon14: Unwashed, smelly kids and parents everywhere, mountainous piles of food on plates that was just left and nobody using utensils to pick up food from the serving trays. :barf:

All the Ponderosa's closed around my area years ago. A golden Coral just opened about 45 minutes away. I have been tempted to try it out just to see how much disappointment it can compare to Ponderosa's.

Dont do it. Golden Coral is really bad. A few steps below Hometown buffet.

They vary pretty widely from location to location. I've been in several, most were good, one was truly bad. I will say after a week of hiking, or a couple days skiing, they are amazing. Garbage food always tastes amazing after too much physical activity.

This is a universal truth. It does cater to a certain clientele. I've never been in a golden corral where good looking well-dressed mannerly persons were the norm.

I know what you mean. When I was a kid, went fishing with my dad on a boat out in the SF Bay. We had a can of sardines and a loaf of bread. I was starving, put some sardines between some bread. OMG that was delicious..lol

I've eaten in settings that would make most people choke, dirt and dust everywhere, we hadn't seen showers in a week or more and the food was green (literally). But at GC, OMG..... Some of those people hadn't seen a shower in a month, the smell as I walked in the door was awful. Supervision of children was non-existent, it's like the parents just turned their kids loose to do whatever they wanted. We couldn't find a clean table anywhere, most were covered in trash and plates that were overflowing with food and no one in sight. :icon14:

We had to clear a table, I found a clean(?) towel and a bottle of something that said 'disinfectant', and sprayed and dried the table before I would even put a tray on it. Then I had some person come up and tell me that I needed to do their table. I laughed, handed them the towel & spray and said "Have at it"...:bowrofl:

You are bringing back memories from my time in Somalia. You would wear your uniform for as long as you could stand yourself. When I got home, I pulled my cloths out to wash them and I just about knocked my roommate out of his chair. Those cloths walked to the washer machine all by themselves.

I'd have to strip right inside the door of my apartment and head straight to the shower. Most times, it took 2 trips through the washer to get them clean. I did scare the hell out of a couple of Jehovah's Witnesses.. they knocked on the door as I was half dressed, still had my cartridge belt with 45 on, along with cammie trousers & boots. I grabbed a beat-up Bible I took to the field, flung open the door and bellowed "HAVE YOU HEARD THE STORY ABOUT JEEEEEESUS?' They ran....:rofl2::rofl2:

Ordered a small little Weber Smoky Joe charcoal grill for myself because why not. Got Susan a nice pair of earrings fashioned out of old Bombay gin glasses since that's her favorite drink. And going to take next Friday off because work is starting to get to me.
