Just went to the store for the first time this month. Things were relatively well stocked with limited items to buy for specific things. I also spent the most amount of money ever in a single trip. $214. And mind you, this is just for me. My culinary skills are in for a treat!

I then went to taco bell and got $30 in food for Susan and I because it's late...

Things regular people don't even look at. Whole chickens, thighs, legs, pork butts, picnic legs, tons of canned and fresh veggies, tomatoes for sauce, etc.

A lot of geniuses just buy frozen foods and the common cuts of meats. I can smoke or sous vide tough cuts. I can make my own breads and pizzas. I have a guy I get eggs from.

I do want to get a meat grinder so I can start making my own burgers from specific cuts again.

Chicken breasts, ground beef, and pork chops were all sold out. The store was lined with whole chickens, ribs, Boston butts, and other roasts like everyday though. I was honestly dreading having to go and being disappointed in what I could scrounge to find, but it all turned out decently well.

I have a meat grinder that I use mostly for making ham spread for sandwiches. :yum: Left over baked ham, pickles, and mayo. Can add other things to spice up the taste. Change the pickles to the sweet & hot chips. Sometimes, add a little mustang.

You have an issue duudet. Not everyone get's jealous of someone owning nice things. I say, good for them. If that makes them happy, go for it. Nice things come with time and hard work. Not gonna be jealous of that. I deal with that attitude all the time from folks. You want to be miserable, leave me out of it.

I used to have a meat grinder but we broke up, I'm not sure where she's at now. :gtfo2:

wassup my Z people! damn, you all have been busy with this thread. I'm gonna check back after reading back through the literature book of posts.

In the mean time, I was thinking, if fecal matter made its way onto an antibacterial bar soap, the soap bar would self-clean right?
