Morning gents! Dropped car at RT last night, fingers crossed and prayers said. They are taking things pretty seriously. No customers in the building, call when you arrive, leave keys in the car, they'll come get them and sanitize the car before working on it. Same thing with pickup. No customer contact.

Anyway, no complaints. We have a new guy in QC. Overseeing his training remotely is going to be pretty tough. Reading documentation just isn't the same as having a trainer in place.

Shelter in-place order to go into effect tonight at midnight for Travis and Williamson counties. I don't work with anyone else, so I am planning to continue to go into the office. Since I'm licensed by TDLR, I get to call myself a building inspector, which is considered essential. No inspections scheduled, at least.

At some point (probably sooner), it's going to be tougher for the governmemt to control those that are unemployed, bored, rioting,... than trying to 'control' a virus that they certainly can't. Nobody can. It's like trying to make the earth stop spinning.

Wouldn't surprise me to see the gov restrictions ease when they realize all they're doing is making things worse for everyone.
