I asked a lady this morning if she had a PC or a mac and she said Viewsonic. I said, ma'am, that is the name of the monitor manufacturer. That was a fun call getting VMware horizon client installed and pointing to the right connection server.:icon14:

I let it pass. Keeps me on my toes to dumb it down so a 1st grader can understand.

Or when I ask them to press the power button on the computer until everything shuts off, then let go and turn it back on again and they say, nothing changed when it came back on! the PC went right back to the same thing! And I have to ask them politely to not press and hold the power button on the monitor.

Morning ya'll! Looking forward to some nonliquid sunshine. I has been raining and snowing here in AZ the last couple of days. It is very creepy as a casinos have been closed in Las Vegas and the Strip is dark. The picture I saw reminds of the movie I Am Legion.

I had a friend, his dad was one of the original execs at Oracle, so they were exposed to technology all their lives. His brother was programming in Perl by the time he was 12, and designed their webpage when they sold their house. :icon14:

Coronavirus Pandemic, day 4.

If anyone is still out there, I’m alive but struggling. Food is running low. Down to only 459 days worth. My hands are super sanitized and my butt is super clean. Down to 1599 rounds of ammo (dropped 1 round down the heat vent while doing daily inventory). Power still on, but for how long? Missing human interaction but I have my dogs.. for now.. (I'm soaking their food in BBQ sauce in an attempt to marinate them from the inside in case I have to eat them) . I fear dark days ahead. News is all bad. Neighbors have attempted to leap from windows to their death, (or near death... most have single story homes so they are badly bruised). Blew through most Netflix series so may have to rewatch some again..Basic Survival is a definite challenge. I vow to persevere to the end, I am a survivor! Please, if there is life out there, communicate with me to help preserve my sanity..

Yes. Eerie.

On the other hand, I rolled up 45 with my neighbor in his anniversary Miata (supercharged - it's got damn near as much hp as my Z ). On the empty 80 mph toll road, we blew past a couple of cops at well into the triple digits. They didn't even blink :driving:

I worked in a machine shop and the owners kid that was 11 at the time, would walk out to the floor and proceed to write the program in G/M code on a 5 axis mill by hand while looking at the blueprint. I was jealous. :icon14:

abm, I got a couple dozen eggs. You're more than welcome to one or both of them if you need :tiphat:
