Nice. Just watch for those wild rhesus monkeys up in the trees jumping in your kayak with you. Dont want to get monkey-virus. :icon08:

Well that was fun. Dodge didn't leave room for crap. Changing belts has always been a pain in the butt. Removing the tensioner just made it more of a pain in the butt. Couldn't imagine doing this on the side of the road.

Doing any work on the side of the road, especially a busy one, is a good way to get yourself killed these days

Most insurance policies include a free tow every so often. Use that :tiphat:

I prefer to be part of the not broke down club. I am not very gracious at it at all. Thank goodness the belt shredded right after I cranked the truck in the carport. If it would have came loose and broke the belt it would have damaged the electric fan clutch, ripped the wires right out of it. That sucker is not cheap by any means.

I change the 2 idle pulleys about every 2 years because of water crossings that I do. They don't like swimming in 4 ft of water. Just changed out the tension pulley this past summer.

I replace once a year to avoid that banshee squeal inthe middle of the night.
