Maybe one of you guys knows the answer to this. The napa gold I know are wix but who makes the ProSelect line? Napas website says they are wix but the kids at the store said they are not:confused: It wouldn't be the first time I've seen sites mislabel parts or the kids just wanted to upsell the filters? Any ideas?

I used the Napa Platinum GTR filter, a tad longer & also used on the pickups
Like a 41356 or something, instead of the 1358 :ugh2:

Lately just getting the Mobil 1 filters, as they built well too....Wix makes the Napa filters & probably make them for lots other people :tiphat:

If we are all being honest about the tags, I need to fess up too. Not about adding tags, but just the fact that some are oddly provocative....

:hello: Good morning,
Question, why when the batteries in the smoke detector get low the detector waits until 4:45am to bellow out “ LOW BATTERY “ :shakes head: it has never once happened at any part of the day but always in the middle of the night :icon17:

You need the Chinese batteries that beep about an hour before your alarm goes off. :icon14:

JARblue 01-27-2020 08:56 AM

Nest Protect. Smoke alarm and CO2. The voice announcements are much more pleasant than the screeching alarm. Even when it detects smoke, it gives a verbal warning first lol.

"Warning. Smoke detected <location>. The smoke alarm will sound. The smoke alarm is loud."

The location is whatever you designate. I just use upstairs and downstairs for the designations.
