Luckily I keep about 3 weeks worth of bacon in the Spoiler shack. I checked the meat fridge last night and I still have about 300 lbs right now, so I should be good for another 10 to 12 days. Just praying this is all over before I run out.

Spoiler 03-22-2020 04:00 AM

Uh and speaking of bacon... T-60

I wired our office about 14 years ago. I will probably pay someone to tape, float, and texture the gypsum board though. There are still patches to finish up from running speaker wire and subwoofer cables in the walls last year, so I can have it all done at once.

Good Sunday Morning All. Hope all of you guys are well. Lot a rain yesterday here at the house which is a good thing. Today we just have a 10% of rain with a high of 72* and cloudy. That all changes starting tomorrow and through next week. Higher temp and more sun and no rain. :happydance: Steaks tonight for dinner, can't wait. :yum: Stay safe guys and have a good Sunday.

PS: Keep washing those hands!!!

Zoren 370 03-22-2020 07:37 AM

Since meat has been scarce the past couple weeks, we had to get kibble for the puppy last week. She didnt like it so we went to Petco to return it. The checkout clerk looked at us and said they couldnt take it back.... We bought it from Petsmart, not Petco. .

For those in the Tampa area, Costco on Sheldon/Linebaugh has TP and loads of meats. TP has limit, but no limit on meat. Needless to say, I was unprepared for the unlimited meats and was like a kid in a candy store.

Damn right! In fact, I was thinking we (members of this forum) all come to your place for a BBQ. I'll bring the meat, and this meat in your grill :icon17:

I don't have kids so I didn't really think about this. Wifey came home with like 5 boxes of baby wipes. I'm like "Are we having a kid?", and she explained that in lieu of TP, we could use these....genius! I guess my Charmin Forever Rolls will never be used and will literally last forever.

So for those of you with kids, what other hidden secrets could you share in regards to alternative items?

If you mix a tablespoon of children’s allergy liquid with a tablespoon of Mylanta (sp?) and gurgle for 60s it’ll knock out a sore throat. I sometimes use it during allergy season. The pharmacist calls is Magic Elixir.

No it works. If you ever get that annoying dry cough when allergy season ramps up. Do that for a couple days. Morning and before bed. Don’t eat or drink for 30 mins after doing it.

You can actually swallow it if you want but I just spit it out.

The tags have been pretty ridiculous for several months (since thread XXXIII) and you just now decided they 'are getting outta hand'? What was it that pushed you over the top? :icon17:
