Both wife and I were gone, neighbors were kind enough to text us and give us a heads up so we had a crew on site to remove them as of Saturday afternoon, and my driveway is now clear again...

Bummed to lose the trees though. I'll need to do some research on replacements.

I hate loosing trees and we’ve lost a lot, had the emerald ash borer come through about 15 years ago and wiped out all the ash trees and now there’s some fungus making its way into the oak trees

That's what killed the first tree to fall in my picture. Massive ash. We've got a LOT on my property, and I'm preparing to take them all down (including one that is just flat out enormous and critically is right behind my garage)

Picked the Miata from the shop on Saturday. I had some work done because of a crank sensor failure. The found low compression in the number 1 cylinder so the heads were reworked. So I needed a tune. Well money well spent. This time last year she dynoed at 118 which is not bad but she did 148 this time. That is huge in a 2500 lbs car. Can't wait for this weekend of two fun filled days a Chuckwalla Valley Raceway.

I am still walking around kicking the gravel dreaming of driving my car again. Go have fun at the track with your brother.

Your rain shields and diff brace are next on my list of things to do. I already picked up the aluminum sheet for the shields.

Thanks, we are going to have a big time! It is fun event because it is a joint event AZ NASA and SoCal NASA with AZ hosting the event. Lots of cars to have fun with.
