Dang, Still 33* out & frosted over :ugh2:
Wanted to wait till 40 or so before heading outside,,,but going out at 8 regardless :icon14:

JLarson 11-04-2019 06:28 AM

32 here, but sunny. Going to be a nice day. Went to a friends' wedding on Saturday, had a really nice selection of decent beers and a great venue. BBQ themed food (or at least what PA calls BBQ). Also knocked out a ton of recording both Saturday and Sunday, so a productive weekend.

Today I need to change the oil on the Z, check tire pressure on all vehicles, and refuel the truck... oh and dissect a tree that came down during Thursday's storm. That oughta keep me busy.

How's it going here? EW, have you thought about keeping some lube handy to ease your BMs?

madwi 11-04-2019 06:38 AM

45 here this morning and rainy. Glad it aint snow!

You didn't see the Kansas game did you? Because we tried to lose that game. Managed to eek out a victory 50-48. At home.

This next week is KState. So yeah. We'll see :ugh:

Duuuuuuuuude. You know they make OTC pills for lactose intolerance. And they work real well.

BettyZ 11-04-2019 09:21 AM

Was up till 114am getting that OT-izzle. 91.4 hours last week. We have an 8 hour rest rule so I cant start work until.. right now.

OSB for the ceiling comes tomorrow. Built a drying rack for post-paint.

Working on plans for my "master" workbench, and I'm conflicted. I want a nice hardwood top, butcher block keeps calling out to me. But I drop things. A lot. Like daily, maybe hourly. Dont want to drop something delicate onto hardwood and break it.

Perhaps I can have inset portions where the surface is hard-*** india rubber flush with the rest of the table. Idk.

Always interesting/frustrating working up the learning curve on something like this.

That's not really his thing. He's the kind of dude that would rather complain and share his ills with the world, than just silently treat it. :shakes head:

I'd settle for an invitation to the mile high club from all the female flight attendants on the plane - at the same time

Working with wood is a great excuse to buy new tools... and you cant just leave tools laying around all willy nilly so you need a new dedicated tool chest as well... :ugh2:

Going to be tough to fit you all in one bathroom simultaneously, but we'll make it happen! After that it's up to you...

An update on my Houston trip:

The hospital is Memorial Hermann on Main Street in Houston, literally the northern point of the triangle that makes up the Texas Medical Center.

I don't know the date yet, so hopefully I'll know more in the next week or so. I usually stay close to the airport, especially if I have to do the install the day I fly in. I'll probably stay at the Hilton Garden Inn on Monroe Blvd, but that could change to one closer to the hospital.

Spooler 11-04-2019 10:02 AM

Drove the Z into work again today. Man I do love this thing. I have so much fun in it as it is now I don't want to change a thing. Wife says I have to add a roll bar though. Not getting around that.

Yeah, I forgot I had Tapatalk installed and it told me. Ive been putting a ton (more) miles on it since the Passport has turned into the Puppy transport.
Im still meaning to install the diff brace from Royal Performance, only thing Ive done in the past few months are oil changes.
Did you put yours up for the winter yet?

it is awesome. I did a 163.57mph in the 1/2 mile. Just about broke the 370z record at the time of 164.17mph. Seb broke it the following Saturday at a 166.8xmph. Having a blast.

Not yet. I took it to work today. :driving: My project list got cut back for the winter. Have to buy a new furnace soon. That's close to $6 grand. :icon14:
