If you do have to hack some off the bottom of those last jack rafters put a nailer on the side of the rafter on plane with the others before cutting off the bottom. This lets you use the nailer as a guide and will look a little less butchered.

The wifey bought a couple containers of Mexican style Ramon noddles the other day. So I decided to have one for lunch when I got home from work. :yum:

OH MY F@#KING GOD!!!

An hour later. My lips, tongue, the back of my throat is still burning. My forehead is still sweating. My nose is running.

I even tried to tone it down with some sugar. Ate with a half of loaf of bread too. No luck. Think it was pure curry with ghost peppers or something. I'm dreading about going to the pooper later.

But it had good flavor to it. :yum:

This is what EW needs to fix himself.

Damn, I'm in Spokane today. I could have had the company ship my 18" base wheels with Blizzaks to here and you could have come picked them up.... :shakes head::shakes head:

Yes, I know that Oregon isn't Washington, but surely you are close...:bowrofl::bowrofl:

You are quite wise.

The prior owner was a strange, strange man. The house, which he also built, is made almost entirely of rebarred concrete block. Not many windows pre-rehab. And there was a "picture window" out front that looked suspiciously like a firing port, with excellent lines of sight to each end of the street...

I guess he took "a man's home is his castle" to include defending that castle from the Soviets.
