What is bad about them? I don't doubt you. It's a Chevy after all. I use to own a cobalt so I'm fully aware of the heat shield rivets rusting after 3 days and the really crappy auto stop function when the brake is pressed at a standstill. As long as the engine doesn't grenade itself and it can absorb a pothole without trying to murder me. That's all I need. And it's only 7k with 57k on the odo. Haha.

:hello:
A buddy of mine is bringing over his f150 this morning and we're going to change out his serpentine belt, ideler pulley and install some H.I.D. bulbs for his trip out to Kansas to pheasant hunt. Then work on some fire wood and if I'm real ambitious go get a hair cut and beard trim..... the other day the guy at the car wash called me Mr. Clause :icon14: :rofl2:

I have worked on quiet a few of them. Both the NA and the turbo versions have problems with the intake manifold and valve covers leaking vacuum and causing all sorts of drive ability and oil consumption problems. There is a laundry list of TSBs on them.:shakes head:

Hey, just curious... in your opinion, which brand(s) do you feel have the fewest problems?

Unless you start over on the angled sections the hip will just be left exposed. Attach a couple short 2x2 to the hip between the rafters to get the end of the sheet nailed tight. You might have to cut the bottom of the last 2 rafters off. I can't tell if it's camera angle or if they are way out of plane. May need a little butchery with a sawzall to clean out the corner.

To get a backer in the corner of the flat just cut a 45* on a 2x2 or flat 2x4 and run it from the ceiling joist into the hip at the point the flat part planes through. Might need to do one both ways. Don't worry about it being right at the end of the sheet. It can be back a couple inches if need be to make it fit.
