Be damn careful with that fiberglass A-frame ladder. Mine failed on me yesterday, twisted into a helix and collapsed. I ended up dangling one-handed off a rafter tie 10 feet off the ground. Pretty sure my grip left an imprint on the 2x6..

I've got a 30-40 year old aluminum extension ladder inherited from Grandpa. Extends full 28 feet for me to barely reach the roof gable peak. Sketchy as fuuuuuck. It's pretty much the reason I don't put up Christmas lights anymore haha
