Have to go back in 12 weeks after my throat tissues all regrow and repair themselves to get scanned for verification if any further torture is needed.

Haven’t really ate anything in over 45 days now and still can’t eat. But that should change in a week or so. I’m down 35 lbs in the past 6 weeks and my dang mustache fell off, but we are making progress.

Here is a picture of the Radiation team that has been cooking me every day... Nice enough people but I'm glad to be done with them. :icon18:

You can see in the picture how the side of my throat started to get pretty burned on the outside too.
Also my jaw bones all got tight and I cant open my mouth up fully yet... I’ve got some physical therapy appointments coming up to work on that though.

Congrats on getting through this ordeal. I know it's been tough on you and your wife. Been there, done that. You now can close this chapter in your life and start another. Just be careful when you start to eat again. You don't want to put weight on too fast. End up looking like the dough boy.

It's something on how we hold somethings near and dear to our hearts, and how much they mean to us. And what they remind us about stuff.

First world problems are still problems, brother. Just bc you're higher up on the hierarchy of needs than others doesn't make make your ish any less valid.

Just you wait. You will have to drive it a while to soak it all in. I think Joby has finally processed most of it. Your sensory goes into overload. Joby has video where he can go back and review. LOL Maybe I will take a couple of guys on rides at Zdayz. There is just hardly anywhere to stretch her legs in the mountains. We'll see.

I still gotta buy presents Rusty.... New tires next week too. Get paid Thursday and it’ll all go by quick :icon14: . Tires, presents for parents, brother, sister in law, niece and nephew. Already got my nephew an off-road RC car for his bday. Need some new ideas now. Would get him an RC 370Z but we don’t have flat property for that

Woke up to about 1 inch of global warming. Everything is covered, but no the roads. Ground is still to warm for the snow not to melt there.

Reading one of my agr reports last night. It's still snowing in parts of Australia. And it's their summer.

:icon14:That's a rough one. With the hip being thicker than the rafters we would normally fir the rafters to bury the hip before sheeting the rafters. Unless you start over on the angled sections the hip will just be left exposed. Attach a couple short 2x2 to the hip between the rafters to get the end of the sheet nailed tight. You might have to cut the bottom of the last 2 rafters off. I can't tell if it's camera angle or if they are way out of plane. May need a little butchery with a sawzall to clean out the corner.

To get a backer in the corner of the flat just cut a 45* on a 2x2 or flat 2x4 and run it from the ceiling joist into the hip at the point the flat part planes through. Might need to do one both ways. Don't worry about it being right at the end of the sheet. It can be back a couple inches if need be to make it fit.
