Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to the rainbow bridge. There are meadows and hills for all are special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals that had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor, those who were hurt and maimed are made whole again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing, they each miss someone very special to them, who had been left behind. They will run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent, his eager body begins to quiver. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carry him faster and faster. YOU have been spotted and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in a joyous reunion, NEVER TO BE PARTED AGAIN. The happy kisses rain upon your face, your hands caress the beloved head and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. THEN YOU CROSS THE RAINBOW BRIDGE TOGETHER...........

On a lighter note the vet gave Pepper a clean bill of health. She had some worms but not sure if the initial deworming was still working... she was a little bloated but not so much anymore. The vet said she could tell pepper was the alpha of the litter. Shes fearless..lol

After work. We are taking Jake to the vet for the last time. We been putting it off. Second guessing our-self if this is the right thing to do. :(

I feel for you and Chris and my heart aches for your loss. You know it's the right thing to do when can put yourself in their paws. You would want your loved ones to just let you go so everyone can rest and remember the best of times that have been shared!

Sorry to hear this Rusty. Thoughts and prayers going out to Jake and the family <3

The fact of the matter is you wouldn't even be considering it if it wasn't the right thing to do.

Flipped off some jackass blocking the left lane on the way home. Was some wannabe gangbangers who threw a plate of food at the truck then tossed what look doughnuts holes. His face tat was as bad as his aim.

I need opinions. Should I buy a $475 scanner that will make my be job a bit easier with tracking invoices or skip it and find another way? The company won't reimburse me.

Rusty 06-11-2019 05:44 PM

It's done. :crying:

Thanks guys. It really means a lot to me and wifey. :tiphat:

Damn old guy had the wifey crying half way through reading it.

What kind of scanner? I MAY have a couple Fujitsu Fi-6130 scanners laying around.

I'm partial to the Fujitsu Fi 7160 but if it's close to that model it may work. Do they use the paper stream software?

The 7160's are what we just put into production to replace the 6130z, really nice scanners.
We do not use the paper stream software.

Yeah the 7160 is awesome and what I used at my last job. I have a winning bid for an open box one on eBay but not sure if I should invest in it.

Pintsize725 06-11-2019 06:02 PM

Let me check the specs on the other one.

madwi 06-11-2019 06:03 PM

Sure thing.

Pintsize725 06-11-2019 06:07 PM

How great did the 6130 do with like 30 pages or more at once? Easy to clean?

Idk, I just fix em when they break. :icon17: They are very easy to replace the consumables.

madwi 06-11-2019 06:18 PM

My coworker says the 6130 will eat 30 pages with no problems.

Not often to be honest. Our medical records and registration people will put an ungodly amount of papers through theirs. Usually we end up replacing the pick up rollers and other consumables, clean the glass with an alcohol wipe and good to go again.

Well if you have one, shoot me a message with your asking price. I can try to get out of the eBay deal.
