Give it time. He will let you know when.

I have been missing my 2nd wife Prissy. Nobody messed with me when I was sleeping. She would come fuss at me when it was time to go to bed. She would lay right there during every migraine. She only went outside to do her business and right back on my pillow she would be. I haven't found one like her yet and probably never will. Get too close and you might draw back a nub. Vicious she was.

Ever since Jake blew his knee out. He's been going down hill. He's got a bad hip from the knee. Arthritis in his back. A fatty tumor that weights 20lbs. He has a hard time getting up from laying down. Has to walk on carpet. If he walks on tile. His legs go out from under him. He's gone from 4 to 5 cups of food to 2 cups of food per day. And he has trouble eating. But he never complains.

A friend had to put down his dog two months ago. The dog jumped off the bed onto hardwoord floor and mustve messed up her hips. She was in pain, yelping and whining for a few days before they put her down..
Sorry to hear this Rusty.

I think im gonna go with feeding raw for the pup. My sister had a dog and a cat that had bad livers, another dog with a huge tumor, I dont trust kibble.

Sorry to hear about Jake, Rusty :(

I love dogs. Makes it incredibly tough at the end.

I am sorry about your dog. It is heart-breaking.

My buddy Opie suffered a stroke two weeks ago and Kate (Mrs. Dr. onzedge) waited for me to return from a trip so I could say goodbye to him before she eased his suffering. I miss him like crazy.

Question fellerZ,

My PC sits in the front office. Does anyone know of a way I can wirelessly cast my screen to any of the TV in the house. I'm thinking Blurays and Bluray rips (from my personal collection obviously for backup reasons). Some of the TVs are upstairs, so distance is a consideration. Is there a way to do this over WIFI?

JARblue 06-04-2019 01:46 PM

Not sure about screen casting options. I use Plex Media Server for streaming media files.

Get Plex on your main pc, connect it to the folder with all of your media. It will automatically add all cover art/descriptions/etc.

You can then download Plex onto the TV's in your house and stream movies from your PC.

i like the halo brand food for cats and dogs. No by product or meal anything in there. Plus my dogs and cats love it. Cats have waaay less hairballs too.

I want to like Plex so much. I think they are going paid only soon, only my guess. They are starting to push out a lot more $79 lifetime passes. Do you still HAVE to have internet connection to use it? No true offline mode?

Get a chromecast, then use google chrome as your internet browser and at the top right of the page, you will see the cast icon to send it to the tv w the chromecast.

Will that mirror my screen, or just cast stuff from the browser?

It should cast either the browser of anything in the computer that supports and has the casting ability. If you bring it up on the screen, it should cast for the most part. I have a chrome book and a mac air and I am able to cast all music and movies on either, whether internal storage or pulled from the cloud.

My son is getting a Chromecast since he didn't want DishTV. I'll test it with his. My 'puter doesn't have wifi though.

They're shooting a movie in my town. On the way home. They had blocked off a street. Outside of one building. I could see some lighting and cameras. There are signs for where the crew is to park at. This will make something like the 5th movie shot here.

After getting home and doing some stuff around the house, Wifey said she wasn't ready for Jake to go. So we tried to take Jake for a short walk. He barely made it out of the gate. Walked to the corner. Though one of us was going to get the Jeep and haul him back. He made it back and got in the yard and had to lay down for a while. Wifey said that she is ready now after seeing how bad he wobbles. Pus I think he has dementia. He didn't remember on how to get back in the gate. :(

As long as your wired and wireless networks can communicate (i.e. one router or properly configured separate networks). You'll just want to figure out which programs are compatible with casting to use for your various sources.

The 'puter plugs into one of the Google wifi pucks which transmits back to the primary hub and router.

Think we are done for now. Had first pick from a litter of dark golden retriever puppies about a month ago. Which is what I love. The price was right. I just couldn't do it. Raising a puppy, knowing that I'm about to put one asleep. I just couldn't find it in my heart. :(

We deal with this all the time. You will know when it is the right time to get another one. Take your time.
