Solid move on the thermostat.

have a good day fellas. Be merry!

Morning all! Good weekend. Cut the lawn, worked to improve the drainage on my property a bit, and did some recording at a local studio. Took my nephew out for ice cream, since he's got a new baby brother and his parents need a break.

Surprise hail storm here yesterday afternoon. Temp went from 80s to 63 in about 5 minutes, blinding downpour of rain mixed with hail. 10 minutes later it was clear again. Weird stuff.

Gfs mom just called. She said her brakes went bad and the ledal was traveling to the floor before she was able to stop. Going to have it toed to a shop. Either a line broke loose or the booster went bad. Had he go back to the car and engage the r brake.

Spoiler 06-03-2019 08:39 AM

Topped off my bacon tank and am ready to hit the ground running again...

Put my FSBO signs out last night, so it may be going to get interesting around here...

Like the song but hate what it reminds me of. The guys from the stereo shop where I worked went to put up an TV antenna on a pole for a co-worker. The wind caught it and blew it into a high power transmission line. Everyone walked away but one. He was killed on the spot. It took a while to get the power turned off and it burnt him to a crisp. I just got this CD when that happened and was listening to it when I found out. I was actually helping a friend paint the dash of his old Ford Metallic Red. The GF freaked out because I had red stained hands when I went to her house.

Back from the unplanned road trip. My mom's younger brother and older sister both passed away within 48 hours of each other. I had to drive my parents to New Orleans for my uncle's funeral, with the plan to drive to North Carolina to see my aunt before she passed. Well, somethings don't go as planned. My aunt died Tuesday morning before we could leave for New Orleans... :( So we headed to NO, hoping the NC funeral would be Saturday. Nope, it was the same day as the NO funeral, Thursday. Right now, I hate driving....:mad:

Thanks JAR. It's kind of sad to see my mom regressing to a child. She would almost have a tantrum if she didn't get her McDouble and mocha frappe on a daily basis... hell, she had a melt down at a Waffle House...:eekdance: Dad & I almost spent the night in the hoosegow.... :icon14:

Could be, she's been having some memory issues. Sometimes it's short term, other times, she mis-remembers older events. She's 83, so I suppose memory issues are to be expected. :(

Ghostvette 06-03-2019 02:37 PM

I did miss the tornado that went close to me and wiped out the town of Linwood. The damn thing touched down just north of where the fiancee's youngest boy lives and went northeast from there. EF4 twister and I got to see some of the damage yesterday. Road signs twisted into sculptures and a group of 5 houses damaged with one across the street untouched...

Start on these today. Because at the speed you move at. You should be done when your test pipes show up.
