My kits identical to the ARB. I also bought Slime rubber cement and put it on the plugs before I plugged the holes.

Actually I haven't even tried it yet. I have no one to press the start button while I bang on the starter. I was just checking prices. Found a Remy starter for $285 incl $50 core charge.

You don't need someone to press the start button at the same time. Give it a try. If I was coming by, I would use a screwdriver on it.

I whacked it with a small crescent wrench a few weeks back on my own. Still wouldn't start.

When I get a helper, I'll have them try to start it multiple times while I whack on it and see if anything changes.
