Once you hit 40. Forget it. Time is gone. You're at your half life. You are starting to have more past then you have future. :icon14:

I've already warned my kids that I'm gonna be that guy in the nursing home that gropes all the aides.... :inoutroflpuke:

They better warn their kids... Grandpa intends to live long enough to be a pain in their azz....:tup:

So far I'm pretty ok with that thought process (though my family is pretty long lived, so likely it's more likely 45 will be the halfway point... Grandma born in the 1920s is still going, fully mobile at 94, still as capable of driving as she ever was)

As my youth departs, my influence has grown proportionately, and it's nice not being poor any more. But maybe my perspective will change. Who knows. Anyway, been a good year! Grateful to know all of you guys, grateful you're a (really weird) part of my life.

Have a wonderful Thursday everyone :hello:

Good visit with Grandpa. He's in good spirits. They are starting some radiation treatment today for some pre-cancerous spots they found on his vertebrae they don't want getting to the spinal cord. Still determining best course for the lungs.

Had a great great uncle go to 109. He quit driving when he was 93. His daughters said that he should have died in his 80's. Said that he was a real SOB from 80 until his death. :rofl2:

Downed power line across Mopac near The Domain. Stuck in traffic for over an hour for a distance of 1.5 miles :ugh:
