And it's flooding here. We got 3.2 inches of rain yesterday within the span of an hour.

Same here ! The cracks in the soil here Made it look like it was Death Valley :eek: there has been good rain go through the area but not here at the house

Went to the Amana colonies this weekend. If you ever go, the only one you need to see is Amana, the rest have cool old buildings, and not much else. The Amana/Whirlpool plant is in Middle Amana and it's really odd to see a modern plant in the middle of all the old buildings. :icon14:

Amana has the wineries and shops. We came home with 9 bottles of wine and 2 growlers of soda, one cream soda and one root beer. :rofl2::rofl2: The growlers we left with the grandkids in Platte City. :tup::tup:
