Drove from Bloomfield NM to Surprise Az. yesterday. The temps went from 94F to 114F during the drive. Seen the fire at Flagstaff. :eek: Got to brother in law's place. Had dinner, and jumped in the pool. It was still above 100F at 10pm. :icon14:

It's too hot to do anything outside. :eek: Now I know why Hotrodz is the way he is. He's baked. His brain is fried. :rofl2:

Back home after a miserable trip back East.... :ugh2::ugh2:

Flight cancelled out of Philly to Boston Wednesday night because of thunderstorms in Boston, and was rebooked on the 6:30 am flight. I got to the airport at 4:20 am and had a line that took almost an hour to get through, just to drop a bag...:eek::eek:

Then Friday, I was delayed leaving Boston because of thunderstorms in Atlanta... (oh chit.... it's Groundhog's day all over again... :icon14::icon14: ) I finally got back to my house about 11 pm. Friday night. :tup:

Woke up 2 hours early and couldnt fall back asleep. :mad:

Sitting in the office now and my eyes wont stay open despite drinking a couple cups of coffee.

i just got that nice 4 mile run in... :rock:

Spoiler, garage decorations arrived unscathed today. :tup: I think maybe they will fit in right under the TV.

It's a 106F. Oh...... it's a dry heat. F##king 106, is still a 106. :shakes head: Go outside and F@#KING melt! I could fry an egg on my skull. :icon14:

Someone always has to say its a dry heat...I tell em to stick their head in an preheated 500 degree oven. That is a dry heat too. :stirthepot:

Dry heat. Soon as you sweat. It's gone. It doesn't stick around. You can't tell when your body needs water.

When it's hot and humid. You sweat and it sticks to you. You know you need water.

Yeap, been in places like that. Been in places that were high humidity and 110+ like Somalia. Standing in the shade sweating my butt off. So hot, that dang desalinated water with bleach was turning my stomach.
