I’ve been to Vegas. I remember leaving the casino at 3am or night to go grab a Dr Pepper (casino was solely Pepsi) and it was still 100deg outside.

Pretty much. Only 93deg as the high.

I just checked again. It’s now 95deg and ‘feels like’ 108.

You guys should look at the temp record for July 11 1936. All lower 48 states was over 95F. Half was over 100F, a quarter was over 105F. The high was 121F. Heat wave from 1935 to 1937 was the worst this country has seen. It was called the Dust Bowl.

And during the Dust Bowl, Rusty was telling the youngsters that it was nothing compared to the heat wave of 1863, when he was fighting with the 11th Pennsylvania Regiment at Gettysburg.

You should visit Gettysburg during the week of the 4th of July. We did a couple of years ago. We stayed at a camp ground. Woke up every morning to cannon fire at 6am.

Have bullet hole in my back. If I told you where, when, and why. I would have to kill you. :shakes head:

Fun fact, if the passenger floor gets soaked from giant puddles, the security light flickers.
Who woulda thunk it.
