Drove in to work today in a nice clean car. Now the question is am I going to be able to get more E85 today? I won't be surprised if they are out.

Top of the morning to you all. We continue to have fall weather her which is weird because that doesn't happen until November. It is 48* right now and the high today will 75.

Hotrodz 09-30-2019 09:03 AM

Short week this week and next week at work. I will leave Thursday after work head to the eastern Oregon desert for our annual bird hunting trip. I will be off through Tuesday and work the next two day and then take Friday off to prep and travel to Phoenix for a weekend of tracking fun. I signed up for competition school so I can get my racing license. I don't know if I ever will do wheel to wheel but you never know when someone may need a driver for an endurance race or something.:driving:

I95 is like that every morning. I never know when I hit the highway if everyone will be doing 80, doing 65, or doing 30 (speed limit is suggested at 55 ;) ). I also see at least 1 disabled vehicle or accident every day. Friday going home there was a tractor trailer on its side (failed to negotiate the turn onto a ramp) and someone disabled in the middle lane (rear ended the car ahead so hard that the radiator was leaking everywhere).

I like my job, and utterly hate the commute.

So that's what the 55 MPH signs with the orange diamonds on them mean... :icon14:

I set the cruise on the rental car at 55, and damn near got run over by tractor-trailers....

I bumped it to 65 and called it good... :driving::driving:

I figured that if I got stopped, I could use the excuse that a)I was from out of state, b) more people passed me than I passed or c) I'm a retired Marine

You'd be amazed at the number of times c) has got me out of tickets... :driving::driving:

Don't forget the billet backing plate.

Spooler 09-30-2019 11:47 AM

Success, full tank of E85 gain. 1000 gallons in the tank. Yes, I go in and ask them how much they have, LMAO. I should be good until Thursday/Friday time frame. More Giggles per gallon on the way.

Depending on the road, the cops are more or less vigilant. I've driven by on 95 doing 80 mph in a 55 zone and haven't been pulled over for it. Then again, it was rush hour, and EVERYONE was doing 80 right up until the inevitable slowdown by the airport (every.single.day.)

The billet housing is the main reason I want the SP gears. I would have already purchased the Boundary Engineering gears otherwise.

Actually the fact that they run out and deplete their supply is a good thing as it ensures you are not getting much moisture in your fuel. The longer it sits in those tanks the more likely hood of water due to the condensation factor as alcohol attracts water.

The distributer won't bring them any E85 unless they have 0 gallons in the tank. 5 gallons, not sending the truck. I always get fresh E85.

Thread is locked now. Guess someone will need to pay some sponsor fees first.

If anyone's thinking ab upgrading the air system in their garage, I just installed this Milton kit and am quite pleased with it.

You need a bigger garage first.. that space is so cozy you could get a side hustle teaching ballerina lessons - you need Bolshoi-grade footwork to get around in there! :rofl2:

You should have seen it when I had 6 motorcycles in it.

One street, one roadracer, one trackday, one dirt, and 2 being restored.

2 torn completely apart. One partway apart. And 3 all together. :shakes head:
