Dang Hurricane has everybody freaking out. May be working Labor Day again. Ugg. I had hoped we would be missed this year.

CSC died about a month ago after 76k miles. Dropped off my car today at SZRPro shop in Houston. Getting CMAK kit, new master cylinder, JWT Clutch and lightweight flywheel installed, because...well why not.

Well I guess my lucky streak has turned sour for me...

1. The new house we are moving to in FL is right in the direct hit line for this Hurricane... :icon14:

2. I just found out that I have a medical problem and will have an appointment at UF Hospital in Gainesville on the 3rd day I'm in FL... :shakes head:

Hmmmm.... no more bacon for me....

Just got my stock engine out of the truck bed. No room to bring it home when I brought the car. Thank god for a front end loader on a tractor. Of coarse I had to make it more difficult by tiping the dang thang over. Made it sit back up with a cargo strap and front end loader. Then I strapped it to the bucket. Up and out, no issues after that.

Cry me a river. They have been taxing my brain big time the last week. I always plan way ahead and think of future solutions. When the time comes, I pull them out of my back pocket to try. Well, gotta start back on the brain storming. Used all of my bag of tricks. I have to load it up again. This will take several months.

I went to see The duelists in 70s.Not a big crowd but great movie.
Not much later went to see Alien.The movie had quite a buzz about it.Big crowds at theater.Then Blade Runner comes out.I like Sci Fi and had read the short story Do Androids dream of electric sheep.No one wants to go to movie.I get my brother to go with.We Go to Blade Runner.Seven people in theater including my brother and myself.Movie blew me away.Rutger Hauer incredible performance.

Went to to three movies I liked then learned they where all directed by some guy named Ridley Scott.

Not sleeping tonight.
Back home after 5 Days in Hospital.
My 3rd trip this year.Getting old sucks.
So many things I want to do.
Nerve endings not talking to each other.

My sleep pattern has been fubarred up, initially cut out coffee back in May & been substituting other drinks with caffeine....seems like good old coffee kick in the morning was best :ugh2:
Hope they get you straightened out, as medicine has come a long ways :tup:

You won't need any coffee if you will get your car done. Drove mine in to work this morning, it is still just rowdy as hell. If that don't wake you up then you are just dead.

I've been a Leon Russell fan for a long time. Great songwriter (lots of people have covered his songs) and piano player but I can see where some might not like his vocals. "Back To The Island" is one of my favorites.
