20 years ago I put in a home theater. My now ex wife thought I was crazy but the family loved it.96" screen with a LCD projector. Now that I have an understanding girlfriend and no one to tell me no I decided to put home theater in my 1898 home. Have a 12' by 22' room for theater that is acoustical nightmare.Windows, bulkhead, closets and cut out. Will try to clean up room with sound absorbers and sound diffusers. Have made several purchases for Theater. This project is a budget buster. 150" Cinegrey 5D screen with 1.5 gain. Projector is 4K & ultra HD 3,840 x 2,160 resolution. Laser projection with 3,300 Lumens. 7.1.2 Dolby Atmous suround sound with 4 subs. Two rows of theater seating with second row on raised platform. Will see how this come out.I have a lot of work to get this built and dialed in. Have not yet learned what to do with retirement time. |

I slung a TPMS sensor off the band when I got my car back. Got that fixed today. It was the right front. The only one that has not flown the coop is the left front. LOL.

The laser will give you sharper ,brighter picture. Will not fall of quickly like bulbs and uses less power. If bulb was not installed correctly a fire could start.Would be due to defective bulb or not correctly cleaning of projector and handling of bulb. The laser should be good for 20,000 to 30,000Hrs depending on model. So at 40hrs a week would be 10 to 14 years of use. |

Buy the way, it is people that are the hassle. The build wasn't that bad. |

As you have stated many times, the build is for you, you owe nothing to anyone else. :driving: hope you driving the wheels off the thing. |

You just live and breathe it for a couple of years.Every night and weekend in shop. You have to be focused and trudge on.Takes a certain type of person. Not for the casual person who has no idea what their getting into. So for people who make smart *** comments have they done a build or just done a few minor mods. |

Thats what I'm talking about. What it takes to build car start to finish. Some people call it crazy.I call it focused. |

I’m up, I’m up... big day here at Bacon Central.
The people from CO that are buying this house are arriving at 8am to unload two trucks and trailers into the basement. This house has a 2500 sq ft finished lower level that we completely cleaned out already. I told the new buyers that they could bring whatever they needed to and move it in before the closing on 9/3. So today is their second 3100 mile round trip with stuff. Last trip they brought a camper and a Bass boat and left them in the front yard. We are being pretty flexible with them. ...Of course, “make it happen” is still my main focus and I don’t think they are backing out now... |
Damn, that had to suck. Pulled from reddit.

Looks like it all blew apart right when the turbo kicked in.... Thats just another reason why I’m keeping mine fairly stock...
