madwi 07-25-2019 11:13 AM

It is a little warm for a "campfire" but got that thing roaring, burning up old cutoff ends of osb and crap laying around the garage.

Those ridges. On either side of the weights. Were definitely not there before. They are on all 4 wheels. Being as I'm 1500 miles away from home I'd really appreciate anyone explaining what these are and how bad it ishttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...950b1635bb.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...36dbc4630e.jpg

They may have not been there. I have had that same thing happen on my Z and my Miata. I only happens to one wheel. I need to check which side it is on. I am pretty sure it is the passenger rear side. I am thinking it happens when bottom out. The grove seems to hit a certain depth and doesn't get any bigger. And this as happened on new wheels that I purchased as well!

I just said **** it. It is cosmetic and because racecare!

Totally because racecar!

-ZS-Carpenter 07-25-2019 06:14 PM

My sport Ray's have the same ridge. The Ray's on both Gs have a similar ridge. I think that is to properly position the weights but I could be wrong on that.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...65b51e8d40.jpg

Bittersweet day here in Baconville...

Took out my Supercar for the last time and filled it up with gasoline for its new owner. I brought it home then and gave it a final detailing.

Tonight is our last night together...

Good bye my sweet...

Ordered a few 3x5 flags for the garage. Gotta love buying straight from china and not worrying about pesky trademarks and crap. :icon17: Plus they only cost $4 each.
