Are you in management? You should be. This is the kind of leadership I look for in my team. It says "hey, we want you to quit, and we don't want to fire you, but we strongly encourage you to look for opportunities elsewhere."

:hello::hello::hello:

Here in fly-over country, it's 75, 96% humidity and it's raining. Predicted high temp 90....:icon14::icon14:

On the pet side, I have a sick kitty that is off to the vet today. She's a 6 year old tortie that acts like she's cold, and about all she'll eat is her treats and drink a little water....:(

The pots must also be painted. No spray in the building; someone asked if we could spray outside. I pointed out that wind, spray paint, and business attire go together poorly. Someone else suggested we use my car as a windbreak. Manager put a hard no on that with "There's not enough security here to save us if that goes wrong."

Which was doubly funny as we're adjacent to a police substation.

Me too. We're hoping it's just a really bad UTI, not that that is good, but it's better than something else. :icon14: She's kind of the grand daughter's cat, she used to lug her around as a kitten, upside down and the cat never complained.

Going to do a grease, oil, filter and tire rotation on the wife's 4Runner, cut 1.5 ac. of grass, take a shower and then go to work :rofl2:
Going outside now to start while it's still cool

:hello:

I'z up. Been up since 8am

Working 10:30 to 7pm today. :shakes head:

Tomorrow is vacation time. Don't have to be back to work until the 29th.

Co, NM, Az. are my stops. :driving: Change of plans. We are leaving the motorhome home and taking the Grand Cherokee instead. The motorhome isn't due back until 5pm tomorrow. Soon as it's back and gone through. We're on the road. We don't have enough time to pack our stuff into the motorhome, and be where we have to be in time in Denver. :shakes head:

We are giving the Grand Canyon a pass this year. Can't find a campground with an open site or a hotel with a room under $200 a night that is close by. :shakes head: So I'm going to do some fishing, and gopher hunting in NM.

You won't be able to get through on I70 through KC. It's closed from 169 highway westbound to almost 69 highway. You'll have to either go I 670 (which kind of takes you down town) or take I435 around the north side of KC. 435 is the less congested route, the folks on 670 drive like morons.... :eekdance:

Just got the word about my tortie....

Extreme renal failure, the vet thinks she ingested something toxic. :(

I'm not sure what that could have been, we don't use any of the traditional cleaning products, outside of laundry & dishwasher detergent. The laundry stuff is liquid and the dishwasher are pods that are under the sink.

They are keeping her overnight to see what happens. :(

Good lord, why did you make your schedule so tight. Forget that, You are on vacation. I can't stand the rushy rush on a long road trip. Way to many things can happen with traffic that can delay you for hrs. It happened to me last year meeting Bob in Austin. Traffic accidents sucked.
