I'm having a hard time getting motivated to clean up the garage so I can actually work in it :(

I did manage to recover all of the nuts from the aerocatch latch mounting plates. So I finally mounted both of the CF finish latches to replace the faded black ones that were already on the hood

I made a mess in mine from the carbon fiber splitter, fender vents, rear sub-frame bushing. Grinding, welding, drilling, cutting. I need to have it cleaned up and my Z on the ground before Lein gets here.

Had busy day. The splitter is almost finished. Have to figure out a splash shield in the fender well. Have almost one FE Design fender vent installed. The hole is cut, trimmed, vent fitted, inside of the fender painted black. What is left is to drill the mounting holes and bolt down, wax fender. Then start on the other side.

Document the fender vent install. I have mine to do here very shortly.

Position carefully. I got mine up a little too high on the fender. I'm about 1 1/2" down from the top roll of the fender. Maybe should have been down about 2 1/2 ". Everything fits flush but the bottom curve of the vent. Have about 1/4"gap that I have to play with. And cut the outside edge of the temp plate. Even doing that. I still had to made the hole bigger to get the vent into the hole.

Do you have the temp plates?

yeah, I have the 3d printed templates. I was holding the template up the other day looking for a good position. I was about where you were, 1.5" from the top. Ill look into dropping it a bit.

I typed this wrong. It should be the inside of the temp plate, on the outside of your mark. :tiphat:
