I can still hear & not deaf,,,but having some hearing loss for sure :icon14:
They tested some new digital hearing aids on me & it’s amazing everything you could hear...felt like I had women ears :rofl2:

Mine is in the higher ranges. Most of it is from turbine whine, and rotating equipment.

The chart is “Greek” to me, but she circled on another sheet conversation level & mine was a bit out of wack :icon14:
She asked about the tinitist while I had them in & it didn’t seem as noticeable/ as I could hear much better :ugh2:

My oldest son was having a house built last year outside of Denver in a development. The plumbers would install copper pipe during the day. At night. The thief's would come in and remove the copper pipe. Another crew of plumbers would come in the next day and install more copper pipe. Not knowing that the copper pipe from the day before was stolen. My son told me that the one house was hit 6 times before the plumbers realized on what was happening. :rofl2:

With the constant noise. A lot of stuff gets drowned out by it. Some women's voices are right in that range. So I don't hear them, and they think that I'm not listening to them.
