Found a "New Style" replacement pump for $191.00. Also have to get a new unloader line for $31.00, and a New Style" check valve for $98.00. That's $320.00 plus shipping. Don't know what the inside of the tank looks like after 36yrs either. Do I take a chance and repair the old compression, and hope the bottom of the tank will last. Or just get a new air compression?

Thinking on this one. If I have room for it. :icon14:

I’ve been happy with our epoxy. DIYed it (3 car garage) was about $900.

I have epoxy floor with flakes in the attached garage. Not sure if I really want to go that way in this garage. I'd prefer no flakes as dropped nuts and bolts would be a pain in the azz to find. That is what brought me to single colored polyurea coatings plus the UV resistance wont let it yellow or discolor.

Don’t use the flakes and the clear coat I have doesn’t seem to be effected by sunlight.

Lots of time to look at everything. Insulation and drywall/osb first.

I was always in Oscoda in September salmon fishing on the weekend the race was in town. And let there be no mistake, that is a hell of a race !

Yes, you had to be ready for that one... it started at 9 pm with a 2 mile running race to the waters edge to get in your canoe and then it was 120 miles downstream nonstop to Oscoda. You had to portage 5 dams during the night. If you were really good you could finish by 11am the next morning.

It is such a big race that teams from all over the world come to race it. Usually about 60 canoes start but only about 50 actually finish. It is pretty tough. My best time was a 14 hrs and 47 minutes for an 8th place.

Last years total prize purse was over a $1M

Back then I had 6 canoes at a time that I alternated training on. I don't have even one now, but I have 5 kayaks...

If you’ve been draining it & water hasn’t been “Rusty” (no pun intended) then you’re probably OK,,,as they don’t build chit the same as they use too :ugh2:
If you get a good commercial grade one - get ready to shell out some clams :wtf2:

You would probably get a discount & I’ve heard that particular brand is a pretty quiet running compressor :tiphat:
