I live in a state that has a low crime rate.Things can happen anywhere.I had kept a loaded handgun in my nightstand for years.With grandkids around I started locking it up in gun safe in office downstairs.

Last year I had a guy break into my house.Hear noise go downstairs and find this guy.Can not get to guns.

I get into fist fight with this guy and push him out through door he broke through.At my age I just about had a heart attack fighting that hard.

He breaks into another house down the street.They shoot him with a shotgun.

He is laying in street bleeding and good samaritan takes him to hospital.

Police arrest him when he comes out of surgery.

3 months later this guy is out on bond awaiting trail.He is living with a women who he ends up stabbing 14 times.

He is now in Pen.

And the taxpayers pay for his medical treatment and now his hotel stay... hmmm...”good samaritans”...

I would have left him to bleed out.

Could have hit me up got a spare bedroom I’m just outside the city.

Also tomorrow may be game time decision my pops decided to tell me earlier he got mulch and whatnot and wants his house done tomorrow. Might try and push it to Sunday. Feel bad pushing it back when he asks me to help out.
