What's huge? $100? $500? It's all about perspective. I put ~20K miles a year on my cars. Some people think that is a lot. My father drives double that. That 5 mpg might save me a few hundred bucks, sure. I could also probably save that much just by not having a heavy right foot. Meh...

A neighbor is building his S2000, and is putting his motor in this weekend. Hes a detailer by trade and offered to detail the Z if I loaned him my quick jack... no brainer! lol

Different vehicles for different purposes. I have a truck and a Z. Neither are ideal just for commuting back and forth to work 80 miles a day in horrendous traffic. So if I can get a hybrid and burn just a gallon or two daily instead of over 6 gallons on the truck or putting miles on the Z, the its a win win.

Different strokes for different folks. I bought a Fit and tried the commuter vehicle thing. Nope. No thanks. It's rated 35 mpg and I get 28 at best in town and the highway driving is terrible (unstable with no lane change power at speed). The Z was rated 19 in town and 24 on the highway and I routinely got 20+/25+ on a full tank even with some occasional fun thrown in.

I am willing to pay for the enjoyment of a more powerful vehicle is what it boils down to.

Yeah. I was DD'ing the Z, but it takes me almost 2 hours to drive 35-40 miles home, so Id be lucky to do one quick pull. Im not saying Im selling any of my cars, Im just saying Id like to add a more fuel economic one for the tedious commutes.

We use that in my facility, crack the ammonia for use as hydrogen in annealing. Back in 2012, apparently we had a catastrophic failure which resulted in us venting ammonia in the middle of northeast Philadelphia. Needless to say, the regulatory authorities were displeased. However, not deaths and no injuries, so that's a plus.

I agree. I just bought a truck with worst gas mileage than it’s predecessor.

Start checking over everything, and as I'm taking it apart, I see the breather hose is covered with tape (I bought the mower used maybe 2 years ago). yup, computer security and handling of PHI. reminding us all we cant look up our own medical records no matter how badly you want to see whats in there. Stuff I use in my job daily, yet still have to watch the lessons. The slides are amazing too, hackers wearing ski masks at their own computer and the likes.

At the power plant. We had a 20,000 gallon storage tank of the stuff. We used it for our N0X emissions. We used to get one tanker a week. Every time we got it. Someone had to dress in full Level A hazmat moonsuit for the transfer.

It didn't last long. So he's only got a BS in Redneck Engineering. If it would have lasted 5 years. He would have a Master's.

One of my old clients is an EHR software company. Had to help them with the IT side of their Meaningful Use certification. That sucked more than ISO 9001

Maybe it's just from the vantage point of having written multiple ISO systems, but I don't think ISO is actually that bad.

Used have to do CBT's every month. Anywhere from 2 hours to 18 hours worth. :shakes head: The tests never changed. In my notebook. I had the answers to every question. Click on the CBT, and daydream until the end. Then take the test. Score 100 everytime.

I have done the same. I said forget it, I am going to commute in something that puts a smile on my face. The fuel cost I just ignore. It's smiles per gallon, Not miles per gallon I pay for.

They didn't mix anything up for about 5 years. Then moved a couple of questions around. Adjusted my notes to match. Good for another 5 years.

ISO wasnt too bad. Just making sure everything is covered and pretty much read off a script during the certification. With the Meaningful Use for EHR, I had to do ALOT of research to meet the requirements, implement the requirements (had to have tons of meetings with developers, as well as people on the clinical side to get a grasp of how things worked on their end) and the proctor would make sure everything met the standards. Alot of pressure because if you didnt pass, it cost another 10k to get assessed again
