Had Costco 91 gas with stabilizer sitting in the car. I was skeptical about the gas to begin with. Car had a hard time starting after I took it out of the garage. Finally burned that crap off and pumped Shell 91 V Power. The one time I pump Costco and bleh.
Strange, the other vehicles that I have take Costco 91 gas without fuss. Oh well, the Z gets what the Z wants:icon14: |

also, i just thought about this and in the 8 years i've had the Z i've never put stabilizer in it for winter storage and never had any issues. just typically weak/dead battery thats it. |

The New "What did you do with your Z today" (with off topic replies) XXXII

It’s all tax that makes gas expensive. I think I paid $2.69 for 89, which is the mid grade I ran in the truck. All the forums say that 5.3L GM V8 likes 89 better than 87. 93, which I run in the G and the wife’s Lexus, is $2.79ish. Haven’t decided what grade I’m going to run in the new truck. Need to do some googling. |

Similar here in Texas. There are places in northern Texas that pay less than we do in Houston even though the refineries are here. |

If you want to freak out. Get a diesel and do some heavy towing. Stopping ever 200 to 250 miles for fuel. 75 bucks a pop. That adds up quick. You will learn to keep you foot out of it or else pay the fuel man. LOL

Move? From Toronto? Never. I love the overpriced housing, crappy politicians, pot hole filled streets and of course our vibrant SJW scene. :icon17: Quote:
