Wouldn't that be the key to the mini-bar?

Giving a hand to those in need. :tiphat:

JARblue 04-12-2019 10:54 PM

Gotta be in Houston at 8 am tomorrow to pick up the hood. As much as I know it's a hood and should be fine in the weather ... I am bringing plastic wrap for the hood, moving blankets for the edges outside the plastic, a tarp to keep the blankets dry on the underside and another tarp to cover everything. Exhaust will probably go in the bed loose. Well actually, everything will be strapped down to prevent shifting cause I drive like an asswhole lol. Suspension bits will go in the cab on top of a painters cloth to make sure the rental place doesn't ding me for dirtying up the interior.

Texas Spring Game after I return :D  :excited:

Looks like I'll need to stock up on Purolator filters next time Amazon has a sale. I don't have any filters for the oil change I plan to do tomorrow. Hopefully Wally world carries the size I need.

Don't bet on it .. unless you want a budget Fram filter (at least from my experience). I've got 5 PureOne filters in my garage. And that's after I've given at least 3 away since the last oil change I did.

driving to chicago in the morning..

Leingod 04-12-2019 11:39 PM

I could theoretically be fine not changing the filter since the past oil change was right before I put it away for the season. I'd just drain the oil from the filter and put it back on.

Buy the one for the Passport. It gives you an extra inch.

old guy 04-13-2019 12:04 AM

Mobil 1 108 is the shorter one
Mobil 1 110 is the longer one
I've always been able to get either at Wally World for $10 - $11

About to turn that countertop chopper on & get this weekend kicked off...working about 6hrs today & then going over to peek at the Z
I’m pretty sure he’s told me in the past, that it’s accident free,etc....& still runs fine after it warms up/ but losing coolant out of the exhaust a little.
I’m really more concerned about having a good/clean chassis to work with...as attorney has phoned me again & says he’s getting closer with insurance company & should be squared up pretty soon :ugh2:
It would sit until I put up a garage,,,cause I’m not disassembling Z in the yard (again)...done it a bunch in the past & getting too old for that chit :wtf2:
I’d definitely have some choices between a build up w/twin turbos or a nice fresh LS7
Anyway, just want to confirm it’s not all pinged up & damages underneath :icon14: As most things would be replaced anyway...would definitely give me a project to work with :ugh2:
